Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry
- You are pursuing Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
- You have experience with financial forecasting and budgeting
Responsibilities
- Conduct actuarial analysis to support various business functions
- Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support actuarial assumptions and decision-making processes
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports
- Forecasting and Budgeting: Support financial forecasting and budgeting efforts
- Work with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in actuarial methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- You have a proficient level of programming skills, such as in SQL or R
- Expert user of Excel
- Proficiency in python programming
- Consulting and/or Client management experience
