Summary

Join Airbnb's Corporate Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team as a Senior Analyst and play a key role in the company's annual strategic planning, quarterly earnings, and monthly forecasting and reporting. Partner with various teams, including Tax and the 21st Century team, to provide financial support and analysis. Compile and present CFO-level reporting and monthly business partner reporting. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modeling skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively. This US-remote eligible position requires 4+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, strategic finance, accounting, or related analytical functions
  • B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses to uncover business drivers and generate insights
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization and make actionable recommendations
  • Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated; commitment to delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work products
  • Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow within the SFA organization; team-oriented with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Support Corporate SFA processes such as quarterly earnings/guidance, long range planning, annual planning, and hiring planning
  • Partner with the Tax team to forecast tax exposures and conduct variance analysis
  • Lead annual planning and ongoing spend tracking for company-wide travel and entertainment spend
  • Act as a financial partner to the 21st Century team, supporting planning, budgeting, and strategic analysis
  • Compile CFO-level reporting, including monthly financial performance reviews and dashboard updates
  • Prepare monthly business partner reporting for Finance, Legal, Policy, and Employee Experience functions
  • Drive ad hoc analysis as requested to support strategic initiatives across the team’s coverage areas
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and drive improvements to financial management and reporting, where needed
