Senior Analyst

Join Frontier View's MENA Strategic Insights team as a Senior Analyst and contribute to impactful analysis, forecasts, and advice for senior executives. You will monitor and analyze economic, political, and business trends, focusing on the MENA region. The role involves writing concise research deliverables, delivering presentations to clients, and managing a team member. This position offers a unique perspective on how macroeconomic and political trends impact multinational businesses and direct engagement with C-suite executives. You will need strong macroeconomic fundamentals, exceptional communication skills, and experience in research and analysis. The ideal candidate is a curious generalist with a passion for the intersection of economics, politics, and policy.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from a well-regarded academic institution in Economics, Regional Studies, or International Relations and a Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., international economics)
• Demonstrated knowledge of macroeconomics through prior experience or relevant coursework
• 2+ years of work experience in a research or analysis role, ideally in or for the private sector
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and oral
• Experience in managing multiple projects at once; excellent time and project management skills
• Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including unfamiliar ones
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
• Robust interpersonal, communication, presentation, and persuasion skills
• Outstanding writing skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze economic, political, and business trends
• Forecast macroeconomic indicators & ongoing economic analysis
• Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive audience
• Delivering research presentations to senior executive clients

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for a curious generalist with a passion for the intersection between economics, politics, policy, and exposure to both developed and emerging markets; demonstrated work, research, or personal experience in a cross-cultural context is a plus
