Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with a strong focus on underwriting models and financial modeling ideally within the commercial real estate industry
• Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required and proficiency in Microsoft BI is preferred
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial modeling and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Underwrite: Develop and enhance underwriting models to evaluate independent contractor compensation, sales team’s performance, and other investment opportunities
• Financial Modeling: Utilize expert-level Excel or Microsoft BI skills to create, analyze, and interpret complex financial models, highlight key management insights and return on investment
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve underwriting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• FP&A: Assist Corporate finance with a variety of FP&A projects to create or enhance forecasting and business analysis for monthly and annual financials
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices to make informed recommendations, experience in commercial real estate is necessary
• Reporting and Presentation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations
• Collaboration: Work closely with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment of overall business objectives
