Summary
Join Taskrabbit, a remote-first company, as a Senior Analytics Engineer and play a pivotal role in the Marketplace team. You will be responsible for designing and developing data ontologies, building efficient data transformation pipelines, and ensuring data quality. This role requires extensive experience with Snowflake SQL, dbt Cloud, dimensional modeling, and data quality assurance. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to align data definitions with business needs. Taskrabbit offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $115,000-$160,000, employer-paid health insurance, 401k matching, and generous time off. Requirements
- Expertise in Snowflake SQL, and dbt Cloud CLI (5 years)
- Expertise in dimensional modeling and SCD2 use cases (3 years)
- Expertise in at least one programming language used for data analysis (eg Python, R) (3 years)
- Experience designing and implementing data quality assurance and monitoring processes (2 years)
- Experience interacting with executive and senior management stakeholders around the topics of data access, quality, appropriate use, metric definitions and standardization (2 years)
- Familiarity with git (2 years)
- Commitment to data process development with a relentless focus on transparency, quality, efficiency and resilience
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data ontologies for Dollyโs core business objects, represented as our enterprise data model
- Develop performant, scalable code for Dollyโs production data transformation layer
- Design and develop efficient orchestrations between interdependent transformation
- Implement transformation pipelines for raw data considering quality, detection/enforcement, and periodicity
- Own data definitions for Dollyโs key business metrics
- Work with executives, department heads and other stakeholders across the business to ensure data definitions align with business needs
