Senior Analytics Engineer

Requirements

• Expertise in Snowflake SQL, and dbt Cloud CLI (5 years)
• Expertise in dimensional modeling and SCD2 use cases (3 years)
• Expertise in at least one programming language used for data analysis (eg Python, R) (3 years)
• Experience designing and implementing data quality assurance and monitoring processes (2 years)
• Experience interacting with executive and senior management stakeholders around the topics of data access, quality, appropriate use, metric definitions and standardization (2 years)
• Familiarity with git (2 years)
• Commitment to data process development with a relentless focus on transparency, quality, efficiency and resilience

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data ontologies for Dolly’s core business objects, represented as our enterprise data model
• Develop performant, scalable code for Dolly’s production data transformation layer
• Design and develop efficient orchestrations between interdependent transformation
• Implement transformation pipelines for raw data considering quality, detection/enforcement, and periodicity
• Own data definitions for Dolly’s key business metrics
• Work with executives, department heads and other stakeholders across the business to ensure data definitions align with business needs
