Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Android Engineer and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient applications. Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and improve software development practices. Work closely with partners and engineering groups to deliver best-in-class processes and a unified CICD solution. Create a culture of continuous improvement and a consistent publishing ecosystem. This remote position is based in Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, or Bolivia.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in software development with a focus on designing and building scalable applications
  • Professional/ Advanced English skills
  • 5+ Years in Mobile Application Build Engineering: A proven track record in developing, building and deploying apps on Android and iOS, highlighting your competence and readiness for new challenges on these platforms
  • 5+ years of Jenkins experience: Comfortable setting up, configuring, and monitoring jobs for cloud based CICD pipielines
  • Quality gates: Previous experience integrating static analysis, automation checkpoints, test automation, and device farm solutions
  • IDEs and platform specific environments - familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, and/or Unity Editor
  • Scalable cloud services infrastructure: Knowledge and experience integrating Google Cloud, Azure, and/or AWS cloud services into a modern application pipeline

Responsibilities

  • You will be working closely with all the partners and engineering groups to deliver best-in-class processes
  • You will deliver a unified CICD solution from code repository, certificate management, quality gates, device farm integration, and automated release, to Firebase testing, and the stores
  • You will work closely with our architects and developers to create a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and a consistent publishing ecosystem
