Senior Animator

Summary

Join nDreams Studio Elevation, a fully remote, VR-first studio, as a Senior Animator to design, create, and refine animations for characters, creatures, vehicles, and environments. Collaborate with designers, artists, and programmers to ensure seamless integration. Deliver best-in-class animations using traditional animation and mo-cap integration. Work closely with the Art Director and Animation team to achieve the project's artistic vision. Stay updated on the latest animation techniques and technologies, and implement animations within Unreal Engine. This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time (37.5 hours per week) contract with a competitive salary.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of animation principles and techniques
• The ability to understand game genres and art styles and create animations that suit those worlds
• Help define motion planning and the implementation process of various characters and their respective responsiveness
• Expert in animation software such as Maya, Blender, or equivalent
• Experience using motion builder
• Experience with motion capture and rigging
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
• Knowledge of game development pipelines, including asset management and version control systems
• Strong analytical skills to solve technical and creative challenges in animation

Responsibilities
