Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 years of experience in building, configuring, and maintaining payment processing systems utilizing products like Adyen, Zuora
  • 3 years of experience in software design and development using Java and/or Kotlin to build services for billing/payment processing in an enterprise eco system
  • 2 years of experience leading and mentoring engineering teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate scalable billing and payment solutions that adhere to industry best practices and are built using Java/Kotlin and other related
  • Leverage products like Zuora and Adyen as the billing/payment platform to configure, build, design, secure and manage APIs/functionality that are exposed to other applications
  • Lead payment engineering efforts with a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment across distributed teams, providing technical guidance, reviews and support to help team members succeed in their work
  • Responsible for payment operations on the engineering team with software build/patches etc, utilizing self-service tooling for the wider development teams to perform API Management
  • Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams (e.g., TPMs, business ops, backend engineers, etc.) to deliver high-quality projects on time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 2 years of experience using Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Software engineering experience with Java/Kotlin and related technologies, including Spring Understanding of API security best practices and standards
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
