Senior Applications Engineer

Summary

Boxbot is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams in designing and developing tailored solutions for the parcel delivery and logistics industries. The role involves ensuring seamless integration of Boxbot products into client operations, overseeing end-to-end solution implementation, and managing complex projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Experience delivering completed projects in material handling automation or robotics (in the parcel delivery industry is a big plus)
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, solutions engineering, or project management, in the material handling automation industry
• Strong knowledge of automation design principles and familiarity with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Technical proficiency - able to discuss and negotiate technical requirements in detail
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
• Detail oriented and able to track requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management tools and best practices

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and craft technical proposals tailored to specific applications in the parcel delivery and logistics industries
• Analyze customer requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, software, and electrical engineering, to design and develop tailored solutions
• Develop and maintain project timelines and roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of our solutions
• Oversee the end-to-end solution implementation process, from product design to installation, calibration, and maintenance
• Regularly communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient project execution and build strong working relationships
