Summary

Join Toast as their Procurement Operations Manager and oversee the optimization of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes. You will manage a team of Procurement Specialists, implement best practices, and spearhead change management initiatives. This role requires strong financial and data acumen, experience with specific tools, and collaboration with various stakeholders. The position involves developing key metrics, supporting SOX/SOC processes, and identifying process improvements. You will contribute to strategic initiatives and procurement systems enhancements. This high-impact role ensures operational excellence, compliance, and alignment with company objectives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, and at least two years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in developing category strategies, change management required
  • Extensive Netsuite, Navan and ZipHQ or similar systems customization experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or related fields
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal communications and presentation skills
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office / Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Procurement Specialists to manage all P2P-related conversations
  • Implement best practices in purchasing policies; enhance procurement performance through technological improvements
  • Spearhead impactful change management initiatives within the procurement team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and scalability
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for procurement activities, including managing stakeholder inquiries, triaging requests, and coordinating approvals across the P2P lifecycle
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate key metrics and performance indicators related to the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process; design dashboards and reporting tools to drive visibility and accountability
  • Support the execution and documentation of SOX and SOC control processes by coordinating audit responses and providing required evidence to internal and external stakeholders
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between Accounts Payable, Vendor Management, Procurement Operations, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure seamless transaction flow across the P2P function; proactively resolve process bottlenecks and delays
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, scalability, and compliance across the P2P landscape; adopt an ownership mindset to support the evolving needs of the organization
  • Collaborate with department leadership to advance the P2P roadmap, contributing to strategic initiatives, special projects, and procurement systems enhancements
