Join Valon's Legal Risk Compliance team as a Senior Audit and Exam Coordinator. You will be the go-to resource for end-to-end audits and exams management, monitoring audit findings, reviewing exam questions, and assisting with audit requests. This role requires 5+ years of mortgage experience (servicing or lending) and a working knowledge of servicing and lending rules and regulations. You will also own the change management review related to audit findings. Requirements
- To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of mortgage experience (servicing or lending)
- Understand state and investor audit requests and be able to respond to audit requests
- Have a working knowledge of servicing and lending rules and regulations
- Ability to own the second level review for audits and be the responsible party for submissions
Responsibilities
- Own and become the go-to resource for end-to-end audits and exams management
- Monitor to resolution any audit findings and design testing to validate resolution status
- Review and reconcile exam questions as they arise
- Assist where necessary on all audit and exam requests
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Jira preferred, but not required
