Senior Auditor

Summary

Join Bitpanda's growing team and play a key role in establishing an internal audit function within the DACH region. You will support the transition of outsourced audits in-house, ensuring alignment with organizational values and standards. This position requires experience conducting audits in the DACH region or across Europe, proficiency in German and English, and a commitment to high quality and safety. You will contribute to product development by providing audit insights and recommendations. Requirements

• Audit Professional with 3-5 years of experience in audit, ideally within the financial industry, and a solid understanding of its regulatory landscape
• Holds or is working towards a relevant certification such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or has completed audit-related education
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to performing thorough audits across diverse settings
• Proficient in both German and English, enabling effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
• A strong team player, known for a proactive approach and dedication to contributing positively to the team’s success
• Located in Germany or Vienna
• Please note this is only available as remote from within Germany

Responsibilities

• Support the development of an audit strategy for the Group, focusing on optimising processes within the DACH region
• Assist in implementing audit initiatives across the DACH region, working closely with cross-functional teams to meet audit objectives
• Contribute to refining the audit approach by collaborating with first and second lines of defence, helping to identify and address potential risks
• Participate in product development initiatives by providing insights and audit-related recommendations to support informed decision-making
