Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working as a Senior Test Automation Engineer
- Strong hands-on automation skills drawn from experience of automating using varying technologies and tools
- Strong understanding of various testing automation principles, concepts, approaches and methods
- Ability to code in Java and an understanding of Object-Oriented design principles
- Understanding & use of Automated agile / non-agile testing methods such as Cucumber BDD & Selenium etc
- Be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills
- Self-starter, highly motivated and loves embracing challenges
Responsibilities
- Create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
- Convert existing manual test scripts/cases to executable automated tests
- Support and maintain the product test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features or bug fixes
- Plan and execute automation tests on a continual basis
- Proactively identify improvements and enhancements
- Continual improvement of the Automation framework
- Communicate effectively across multiple teams to ensure cohesion and collaboration
- Provide leadership and mentoring for team members regarding test automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge and experience of Cypress Test Automation Framework
- Appium test automation framework Experience for testing mobile apps using Selenium WebDriver protocol
- API testing experience
- BrowserStack working knowledge and experience
- Experience working in a globally distributed team
- Practical experience of Unix/Linux
- Experience in participating and contributing towards PI and Sprint planning
- Understanding of Web Services, Azure and/or Amazon AWS
- CI/CD, Github Actions
