Senior Automations Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data, automation or DevOps
• Proficiency in Python (or another scripting / automation language)
• Experience with workflow automation tools (Knime, Airflow, Zapier, etc.)
• Strong understanding of API integrations and RESTful services
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain payroll automation scripts, workflows, and integrations
• Optimize business and engineering processes through automation
• Plan, design and implement API integrations between internal and external systems
• Collect and document users' requirements and develop specifications for the automations
• Assess, test, and troubleshoot automation tools, integrations, and scripts for improved functionality and reliability
• Automate monitoring, alerting, and quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
• Maintain documentation and best practices for automation solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ETL and data pipeline automation is a plus
