Summary
Join Streamline as a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer in a full-time remote position. This role requires a well-rounded and experienced individual with strong software development, systems management, and managerial skills. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations. The position involves designing, implementing, and supporting the enterprise Mac infrastructure, utilizing various DevOps tools and technologies. You will also mentor team members and lead efforts to implement the DevOps vision. This is a dynamic role fully integrated to support development and business needs.
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years’ experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer
- 10+ years' experience with Bash, Python, Go, Ruby
- 8+ years’ experience as a cloud practitioner Azure and AWS
- Experience building secure, scalable, highly available Paas/SaaS products
- In-depth knowledge of different services offered by AWS and Azure
- Ability to build cost estimates and find cost effective solutions
- Ability to explore open-source solutions, R&D
- Proven experience in networking, routers, load balancers
- Proven experience in GitHub, GitLab, reusable CI/CD templates, designing git workflows
- Experience containerizing end to end components using Docker, Kubernetes
- Proven experience building infrastructure provisioning templates, Infrastructure as code
- Experience managing and integrating authentication and authorization with Okta, Azure AD or other
- Proficient in maven, gradle, webpack, Fastlane build tools and scripting
- Experience working with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, event driven systems, frontend
- Experience working with OpenSearch, ELK stack, Splunk
- Experience building monitoring dashboards with Splunk and Grafana
- Ability to automate any manual tasks
- Proficient in APM tools and logging tools (AppDynamics and Splunk)
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc
- Proven experience working with cloud and on-prem relational and NoSQL databases
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong Automation and Problem-solving skills and ability to follow through to completion
- Experience coaching junior members in the team
- Azure and AWS Certifications
- System design experience
Responsibilities
- Creates, manages, and uses dashboards for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for non-production environment
- Contributes to future improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g., cloud enablement, use of microservices with containerization
- Monitor and oversee comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements
- Co-ordinates with Auditors and stakeholders on Sox and CPNI compliance requests
- Provide guidance and leadership to DevOps teams on compliance and security on associated process and roles/responsibility for solution and remediation
- Responsible for mentoring fellow teammates
- Lead the efforts to implement the DevOps vision, leading team members by example and communicating back with business partners and leadership
- Researching new technologies and conduct Proof-of-Concept testing
- Automating solutions for internal and external teams
- Serves as technical engineer in the analysis, design and implantation of various projects and initiatives
- Responsible for the implementation of new systems, upgrades, and modifications, including planning, testing, coordinating, and scheduling
- Ensures change management and defined security procedures for all assigned systems are executed in accordance with client policies and procedures
- Minimizes client service interruptions through early identification and resolution of problems
- Analyzes monitoring and maintenance data and implements changes as required to achieve optimum performance
- Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with, and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and from time to time, be asked to code or evaluate code

- Experience with managing SLA’s and KPI’s for multiple operational system
- Good knowledge of Data Security, Sox Audits and CPNI compliance
- Experience with standardizing playbooks, operational processes, and procedures
- Experience with Change Management and Release Management of Data Analytical solutions in an Agile DevOps environment
