Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• Strong technical expert with experience in complex projects from conception to delivery, to provide automated, secure, and robust cloud infrastructure solutions
• Proven experience in designing and supporting Azure, including IaaS and PaaS within an enterprise setup
• Practical experience with AKS, Application Gateway, Azure Infrastructure and Networks, Azure Security, etc
• Experience in setting up cloud automation, including CI/CD pipelines using technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker
• Scripting and automation methods such as Terraform, Ansible, Python, YAML, Go
• Technical knowledge in as many of the following as possible: Public Cloud Architecture (Azure), PaaS (Container, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, FaaS, etc.)
• Knowledge of common security practices (e.g., IAM roles, KMS, etc.)
• Previous experience with the development of large-scale systems
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies and can formulate Best Practice approaches and practices
• Strong communication skills, customer contact experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable software services together with Engineering and Architecture teams
• Perform cloud engineering tasks within sprint cycles, aligned with Best Practices and Templates within a customer project team
• Create cloud solutions for new customers using cloud-native components
• Use fundamental architectures and components to build automated cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting service frameworks
• Present architectures for customers at various levels, from developers to executives
• Advise leadership and end-users with varying technical familiarity with cloud technologies on technology selection, Best Practices, and benefits
