Summary

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the core team working on backend systems across various technology products
  • Work on a wide scope of critical initiatives, from core product functionality to machine learning
  • Collaborate closely with the product and design teams, with exposure to company leadership
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and strategy, and be expected to contribute ideas, push back as needed, and advocate for quality engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, ideally with experience building own products in the past
  • Ability to be a cross-disciplinary team member, excited to learn new skills and communicate with colleagues in different disciplines

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and project scope (approximately $80-$120 USD per hour)
  • This is a freelance position with a defined scope and timeline
  • Hybrid work arrangement with 2-3 days in the Brooklyn or London office, or fully remote if in EST or BST time zones
  • Regular virtual meetings and collaboration are required
