Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Deep involvement with several APIs
• Python experience
• Good understanding of Databases, Caches, Queues, Events, Lambdas and Workers
• Understanding of cloud and how the code written will run
• Skilled in Unit testing and E2E testing
• Located in the US
• Fast learner
• Comfortable working within a visual design systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python, fastAPI, TypeScript, Node, NextJS, tRPC, ExpressJS, NX, GitHub, Jest, Vitest, Playwright, PostgreSQL, Redis, Queues and Workers, Zitadel, Zanzibar (FGA), Sentry, and AWS
• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in solving problems and improving code/infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong SQL / DB knowledge
• Experience working with feature flags
• Release experience
• Networking knowledge
