Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Possess strong proficiency in Java
• Have experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot
• Have a high comfort level with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB
• Be proficient in working with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
• Have experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis)
• Have a solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services
• Have a good grasp of the SOLID principles
• Possess strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills
• Be comfortable with Git version control system
• Be willing to participate in our on-call rota

Responsibilities

• Contribute to customer-to-supplier dispatching algorithms
• Develop real-time order tracking
• Develop and optimize APIs for 3rd party integrations
• Perform database modeling and design
• Implement a safer and more flexible attribute management system
• Enhance availability and assignment algorithms
• Perform API-first development and E2E API tests
• Perform unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of backend services

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Be willing to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine)
