Senior Backend Node.js Developer

Summary

Join our fully remote team as a Senior Backend Node.js Developer and work on a large-scale eCommerce management platform integrating with major marketplaces. You will tackle deep technical challenges within a clean and scalable architecture. This is a long-term opportunity in a stable and growing company that has served over 5,000 eBay sellers since 2010. We use Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, Vue.js, Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and RabbitMQ. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.js, a solid understanding of TypeScript and relational databases, and experience with distributed systems and AWS-based infrastructure.

Requirements

• Have 4+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js
• Possess a solid understanding of TypeScript and relational databases
• Have experience working with distributed systems and AWS-based infrastructure
• Have good English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop backend features using Node.js, TypeScript, and Prisma
• Work with Vue.js (Element Plus) and Next.js on the frontend
• Utilize PostgreSQL as the database
• Manage infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Fargate), and RabbitMQ
• Maintain and improve the existing eCommerce platform
• Integrate with major marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Shopify
• Handle listings and inventory management within the platform
• Leverage AI and Big Data to optimize workflows and improve sales performance
