Summary
Join Sidecar Health, a company redefining health insurance, as a Senior Business Analyst reporting to the Head of Business Analytics. You will build and support emerging analytics needs, using technical expertise and strategic thinking to drive impactful business decisions. Collaborate with internal and external teams, create self-service dashboards, and define key performance indicators. Present insights to leadership and own solutions from start to finish. This role offers the chance to be part of a cutting-edge, fast-growing team transforming healthcare. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of quantitative analytics experience with SQL, dbt, and Python, and experience building Tableau dashboards. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of quantitative analytics experience with experience in SQL, dbt, and Python-based analytical libraries
- 3+ years professional experience in building and maintaining Tableau dashboards
- Bachelorโs degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic startup environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passionate about transforming the US health insurance industry through transparency
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy cutting edge analytical solutions to strengthen our strategy across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product in a fast-paced healthcare tech startup
- Collaborate with external clients to communicate data integration requirements to the data engineering team
- Effectively partner across teams, within and outside of analytics, to translate raw data into business impact
- Create self-service dashboards and automated data reporting solutions
- Define and monitor critical metrics and KPIs to track success, outcomes, and impact
- Present insights and strategize with leadership on the direction of the business and areas of opportunity
- Own solutions from start to finish
- Be a part of a cutting-edge, fast-growing team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Snowflake, Salesforce, and NetSuite
- Experience in health insurance regulatory reporting
- 2+ years of proven experience collaborating with external clients
- Masterโs degree
