Summary
Join Housecall Pro as a Senior Business Analyst and play a pivotal role in driving key product initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, experimentation, and storytelling to enhance Pro onboarding and engagement, and encourage product-led growth. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to inform product strategy and ensure a seamless Pro experience. The goal is to maximize the lifetime value of every Pro. You will become an expert in Housecall Pro's products and services, drive results through data-driven analysis, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline; or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years experience with a BI tool (i.e. Tableau, Power BI or Looker)
- Understanding of SaaS business models, including how product-led growth strategies support broader business objectives
- Hands-on experience with product analytics platforms (ie Amplitude, Mixpanel) for funnel analysis and behavior insights
- Proven success sourcing business questions from key internal stakeholders, refining, and answering comprehensively with data and analytics
- Deep understanding of SQL and transforming raw data into usable datasets for analytical purposes
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in our products and services, and gain a deep understanding of our Pros and how our products and services enable their businesses
- Drive results by supporting business and marketing stakeholders in identifying and answering key questions through data-driven analysis
- Interpret data and findings and communicate these back to business stakeholders in written and visual format
- Own the development of strategic and thoughtful analysis to maximize customer lifetime value, specifically with pricing and packaging and go-to-market tactics
- Serve as a role model and mentor to junior business analysts on the team
- Develop deep expertise in our products and services so you can continuously identify opportunities to lead our Pros to success
- Partner with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to pinpoint key questions about Pro behavior, onboarding effectiveness, and feature adoption
- Own the data instrumentation and event tracking needed to measure new and existing product features, particularly those tied to self-serve onboarding and engagement
- Translate complex findings into clear, visual narratives that inform decision-making at all levels. You’ll ensure insights are actionable and accessible to a diverse audience
- Contribute to strategic analyses that maximize customer lifetime value
- Serve as a role model for junior analysts fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Former experience in management consulting, business operations, financial modeling, product management, or product/marketing analytics
- Experience collaborating closely with product managers and stakeholders to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis
- Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and challenging the status quo to uncover product opportunities
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment—whether that’s leading your own projects or working cross-functionally with other teams
- Ability to drive analysis, with a constant eye toward business objectives
