Summary

Join Axonius as a Channel Sales Engineer and become a technical expert supporting our growing partner ecosystem. You will enable partners to effectively sell the Axonius platform, providing technical enablement and pre-sales support. This role demands strong cybersecurity understanding, excellent communication, and collaboration skills. Responsibilities include serving as the primary technical contact for partners, delivering training, assisting with customer requirements, supporting demonstrations and POCs, and collaborating on joint sales strategies. You will also respond to inquiries, stay updated on product features and industry trends, conduct research, and act as a liaison between partners and Axonius teams. Travel to partner locations may be required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, preferably with a focus on cybersecurity or IT infrastructure
  • Experience working with and enabling channel partners is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, technologies, and best practices
  • Familiarity with various security and IT management tools and platforms (e.g., SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint security, cloud security, network security, ITAM)
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned channel partners
  • Develop and deliver technical training and enablement sessions for partner sales and technical teams
  • Assist partners in understanding customer technical requirements and aligning Axonius solutions
  • Support partner-led demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs) by providing technical expertise and guidance
  • Collaborate with the Axonius sales team to develop and execute joint sales strategies with partners
  • Provide technical responses to partner and customer inquiries during the sales process
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Axonius product features, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Conduct technical and competitive landscape research to effectively address partner questions
  • Act as a liaison between partners and Axonius product management and engineering teams to provide feedback and advocate for partner needs
  • Contribute to the development of partner programs and initiatives
  • Participate in partner events and conferences as a technical representative of Axonius
  • Travel to partner locations for training, meetings, and events as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is a plus
