Senior Cloud Accounting Technician

Summary

The successful candidate will handle monthly, quarterly, and annual bookkeeping engagements using cloud-based accounting software. You will also complete ad-hoc projects like general ledger work, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration, plus at least three years of full-time accounting or bookkeeping experience. Strong communication, problem-solving, and client service skills are essential, as is experience with web-based accounting programs. The ability to work remotely with a reliable internet connection is also required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-year bachelor degree in Accounting and Business Administration
• Must have experience working with web-based accounting programs such as: Quickbooks Online, Xero etc
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a full-time accounting or bookkeeping role
• Must have superior English written and verbal communication skills
• Must have worked in a paperless environment with strong process flow
• Proven problem-solving skills. Proven on-point communication and client service skills
• Must have strong business acumen and has the desire to grow within a fast-growing game changing firm
• Must have access to high-speed, reliable and consistent internet connection
• Must adhere to firm privacy policies at all times

Responsibilities

• Complete ad-hoc projects such as general ledger typing, financial statement preparation, and financial analysis commentary
