As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will administer and maintain various systems, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory management
- Strong expertise with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) administration
- Experience managing Pure Storage Arrays in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with Dell PowerProtect or similar enterprise backup solutions
- Proficiency in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including setup, management, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user/group management, and security configurations
- Manage and optimize VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
- Maintain and troubleshoot Pure Storage Arrays, ensuring optimal performance and data availability
- Oversee Dell PowerProtect backup systems, managing backup policies, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning
- Support and enhance Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, ensuring a seamless and secure virtual desktop experience for users
- Implement security best practices across Active Directory, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
- Monitor system logs and respond to security incidents as needed
- Proactively monitor system performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Work closely with internal teams to optimize infrastructure for business needs
- Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system administration tasks
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, scripts, or other automation tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as MCSE, VCP (VMware Certified Professional), Azure Administrator, or Pure Storage Certification
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and cloud-based identity management
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and disaster recovery planning
