As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will administer and maintain various systems, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability. This role requires extensive experience in systems administration, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure, particularly with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VMware. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory management
• Strong expertise with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) administration
• Experience managing Pure Storage Arrays in an enterprise environment
• Hands-on experience with Dell PowerProtect or similar enterprise backup solutions
• Proficiency in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including setup, management, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
• Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user/group management, and security configurations
• Manage and optimize VMware environments, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Maintain and troubleshoot Pure Storage Arrays, ensuring optimal performance and data availability
• Oversee Dell PowerProtect backup systems, managing backup policies, data recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Support and enhance Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments, ensuring a seamless and secure virtual desktop experience for users
• Implement security best practices across Active Directory, virtualization, storage, and backup solutions
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
• Monitor system logs and respond to security incidents as needed
• Proactively monitor system performance, capacity planning, and resource utilization
• Troubleshoot system issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Work closely with internal teams to optimize infrastructure for business needs
• Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
• Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system administration tasks
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, scripts, or other automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as MCSE, VCP (VMware Certified Professional), Azure Administrator, or Pure Storage Certification
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and cloud-based identity management
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and disaster recovery planning
