Summary

Join Capco Poland, a leading technology and management consulting firm, and become a Senior Cloud Engineer. You will build and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, design and implement RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, and work with various AWS services. Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product teams to bring features from concept to reality. Shape the technical direction of projects and write clean, well-tested code. Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and popular frameworks (e.g., Express, Fastify)
  • Experience working with AWS services, especially: AWS Fargate (containers, ECS) AWS API Gateway (REST and/or WebSocket API) AWS AppSync (GraphQL)
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar)
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (AWS Cognito, JWT, etc.)
  • Ability to write unit and integration tests
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with databases (e.g., DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Awareness of cloud security best practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining backend services using Node.js and TypeScript β€” clean, efficient, and built to scale
  • Designing and implementing RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs that power great user experiences
  • Working with a wide range of AWS services like AWS Fargate, AWS AppSync, AWS API Gateway, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB to bring our ideas to life in the cloud
  • Teaming up with frontend developers, DevOps, QA, and product folks to bring features from concept to reality
  • Joining in on architecture conversations and helping shape the technical direction of the project
  • Writing code that’s clean, well-tested, and easy for your teammates (and future you) to understand

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices and serverless architecture (AWS Lambda)
  • Advanced knowledge of GraphQL
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer)
  • Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog)
