Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in the field of remote condition monitoring/vibration analysis
  • VCAT-III Vibration Analysis Category III
  • A thorough understanding of the typical drivetrain failure modes (gearbox, generator and bearing failure modes) and troubleshooting procedures incl. root cause failure analysis etc
  • Experience with vibration analysis software, vibration data acquisition systems as well as various condition monitoring techniques
  • Fluency in English and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and diagnose the health condition of key wind turbine components (ie. gearboxes, main bearings, and generators) to highlight potential failures or damages before they occur
  • Lead the technical aspects for major clients, representing the team's analysis, understanding client needs deeply, and consistently proposing tailored CMS solutions that align with their objectives
  • Have continuous contact with our customers’ site operators incl. technical reporting of potential reliability conditions and follow ups on the alarms detected in connection to the technical actions applied on the site
  • Improve of the alarm strategy and threshold configuration based on feedback from the sites
  • Collaborate with our in-house developing teams on improving our AI software platform for wind turbine predictive maintenance
  • Support the processes to transfer data and establish the monitoring setup for the onboarding of new sites to the portfolio
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the technical standards, processes and guidelines for monitoring vibration data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Operational experience with wind turbine condition monitoring
  • Degree in Engineering, or applicable technical degree from an accredited university
  • Experience working with condition monitoring systems from Brüel & Kjær Vibro, Bachmann or Bently Nevada
  • Experience with basic data analysis tools and scripting, e.g. using Python
