Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, criminal justice or related field or equivalent relevant work experience required
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with a concentration on life insurance and annuity products
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude for detailed work
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced production environment while addressing multiple responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate and provide agents, Company personnel, and third-party administrator with support on Compliance procedures and the Company’s agent monitoring and anti-fraud programs
- Maintain strong working knowledge of the Company’s products, administrative systems and procedures
- Support continuous improvement and implementation of departmental and company procedures
- Support the complaint response team, as needed, to meet regulatory deadlines, including investigating complaints and drafting complaint responses
- Guide the investigation of suspect agent activity and address potential issues
- Support screening of producers seeking appointment or re-appointment with the company and participate in the Agent Onboarding Committee decision making process
- Manage the company’s electronic agent monitoring program reviewing activity and sales transactions to identify patterns requiring further investigation
- Respond to state insurance regulator inquiries regarding agents or fraud investigations, manage the collection of required information, and draft responses for management review
- Compile and provide data and reports to senior management on agent monitoring trends, and make recommendations on ways to reduce re-occurring issues
- Conduct investigations of potential fraud, elder abuse or agent monitoring escalations as assigned
- Prepare investigative reports and documentation necessary to report relevant findings to management in a timely manner
- Take appropriate actions to resolve fraud cases and mitigate risk to the Company, at the direction of management
- Perform ad-hoc investigative requests by management, as assigned
- Create and file annual fraud reports and other required fraud notifications to state insurance regulators
- Perform other functions, duties and projects, as assigned

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Life and Annuity compliance and regulatory environment preferred
- Anti-Fraud designations or completed coursework towards designations such as CFE or CAMS curriculum is a plus
