Senior Consultant II, Solution Architecture

Summary

Join ServiceRocket as a Solution Architect, a key role driving customer acquisition and satisfaction. You will extend Senior Consultant I responsibilities, build and deliver high-value enablement content, mentor the Solutions Architecture team, guide team members through complex opportunities, and deliver solution roadmap discussions. Architect innovative solutions leveraging ServiceRocket and partner technologies, maintain a positive personal brand, and handle client identification and invoicing. Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, implementation, testing, and deployment. Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating and proposal generation. Participate in sales presentations and identify additional product/service opportunities.

Requirements

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
• Relevant industry certification in ITIL, Agile, Scaled Agile or DevOps
• Experience in mentoring other consultants to grow their technical, consulting and solution design skills
• Experience in Agile, ITSM or DevOps practices. Experience with Scaled Agile methodology
• Experience with technical pre-sales or as a professional in the field of information technology
• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills

• Experience with operating systems functions and able to manage using command lines
• Experience with the concept of SSO and SAML. Understand how Active Directory or Identity Platform(IDP) such as Okta, SecureAuth or equivalent works
• Experience with writing SQL queries to execute advanced functions. Familiar with Web Technologies in areas such as HTTP, TCP/IP, SMTP, SSL and etc. Familar with API and REST API calls
• Experience in Cloud Architecture and SaaS services such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and or equivalent
• Analytical, able to think on his or her feet, and a fast learner
• Always learning new technologies
• Must be comfortable explaining concepts on a whiteboard
• Adaptable and enjoys engaging with external customers

• Atlassian platforms knowledge: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, JIRA Advanced Roadmap

• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy, Perl, Ruby, Shell Scripting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Extends Senior Consultant I, Solution Architecture responsibilities
• Build and deliver high-value and reusable enablement content that measurably improves the team’s effectiveness and execution
• Sustain mentorship on the members of the Solutions Architecture team to improve our technical win rate and increase revenue
• Guide Solution Architect team members through complex customer opportunities and activity
• Deliver solution roadmap discussions
• Architect innovative solutions leveraging ServiceRocket and partners technologies that lead to new use cases and revenue opportunities
• Maintain a positive personal brand through ServiceRocket-relevant participation in partner channels such as conferences, blogging, social media, or volunteering for external technical committees or communities of practice
• Client identification through final invoicing for engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills
• Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment
• Financial responsibilities including project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing
• Participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities
• Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred Qualifications: 5 - 8 years of experience as a programmer, IT engineer, technical trainer, consultant or solution architect
• Experience with software coding or QA testing code
• Hands-on administrator level experience with Atlassian platform products: JIRA,Confluence, BitBucket, Cloud, Crowd, Access, Portfolio and others
• Experience coding in Java, Python or Groovy. Has written code for personal or professional projects
• Capable to articulate solution and design in web application and SaaS architectures
• Atlassian Certification desirable
