Senior Content Designer - Product

Summary

Join Facet, a rapidly growing fintech company, as a Content Designer and play a crucial role in shaping user experience by creating engaging, jargon-free content. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop intuitive and informative experiences for members and internal teams. Craft content across the product ecosystem, from microcopy to in-app notifications, and contribute to the overall voice and strategy of Facet's products. This role requires a strong understanding of UX principles and a proven track record of creating performant, user-centered content. The position reports to the Head of Product Design and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Requirements

• Online portfolio of UX writing samples required for consideration
• 7+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, Content Strategist, or similar role, with a proven track record of creating performant, user-centered content
• Advanced understanding of UX principles and best practices
• Proven experience conducting user research and applying diverse research methodologies, including A/B and multivariate testing, to inform content decisions
• Advanced experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. This isn't a visual design role but collaborating inside design files is required
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Create copy that is free of industry jargon, concise, user-friendly, and performant for a variety of digital products and platforms, including web and mobile applications, for both internal and external audiences
• Write and edit a wide range of content, including microcopy, user interface text, onboarding flows, help documentation, FAQs, transactional emails, error messages, and in-app notifications
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration
• Develop and maintain a content style guide and voice and tone guidelines for Facet's products, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and alignment with overall brand guidelines
• Engage in rapid experimentation and testing, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research methods to validate and refine content
• Transform user insights into effective and engaging content solutions
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure content adheres to industry regulations and guidelines
• Present your work to stakeholders and effectively communicate your design decisions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Financial industry is a plus
