Summary

Join our team as a Senior B2B Marketing Writer to create audience-centric, data-driven marketing content that engages audiences and drives results. As a remote position with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central time zones, you will report to the VP of Content Marketing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in journalism, communications, English or related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years professional experience required in developing marketing and sales content effective at driving awareness and generating leads
  • Exhibits an understanding of content creation in the B2B Martech space
  • Experience applying content strategy, channel strategy and demand funnel to create different types of consistent, engaging marketing content and communications effective at driving awareness, lead generation and lead nurturing
  • Demonstrated ability to self-manage work, prioritizing and quickly flexing to create, adapt and optimize a collection of high-quality content for primarily digital consumption for various audiences, purposes, and media
  • Experience with SEO strategy and application to content development
  • Strong written communication skills adept at embracing brand voice and tone, maintaining audience focus, and deploying consistently in writing
  • Able to distil verbose or technical content into a concise message
  • Exhibits consistent quality control in work
  • Experience with web publishing, content marketing platforms, and content management systems, such as WordPress

Responsibilities

  • Use audience, channel, and performance data to create on-brand marketing content aligned to channel strategy and buyer stage
  • Write/edit web copy & landing pages, articles, blogs, emails, case studies, social media content, sales enablement, how-to guides, tip sheets, infographics, scripts, video scripts, and ads
  • Oversee the full content lifecycle from ideation, planning, and development through web publication, distribution, maintenance, and analysis
  • Collaborate with demand gen and digital marketers to conduct persona research, draft and edit content for use across multiple platforms
  • Partner with regional/country marketers and VP of Content to segment SMEs to create and deliver original content optimized for a variety of audiences/channels
  • Ensure content consistency in terms of style, quality, and tone across channels
