Summary

Join Vasion as a Senior Contract Manager and play a key role in overseeing, drafting, negotiating, and managing various commercial agreements. You will partner with Sales, the Executive team, and other departments to ensure contract terms protect the company and comply with regulations. This role requires managing MSAs/SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, SOWs, and other contracts, serving as the primary point of contact for procurement requests, and collaborating with departments to align contract terms with goals and policies. You will also create and improve contract templates, implement CLM tools, ensure compliance, lead contract training, and monitor contract obligations. Remote candidates are considered, with preference given to those near Utah offices. Vasion offers a flexible work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, with some experience at a SaaS company
  • Deep understanding of SaaS agreements and enterprise customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple complex deals simultaneously
  • Familiarity with data privacy, IP, and regulatory considerations in SaaS environments
  • Proficiency with CLM platforms and Salesforce
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate legal language into practical business terms
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate issues
  • Strong business acumen and client-service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including: MSAs/SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, SOWs, and partner/reseller agreements
  • Vendor and procurement contracts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Sales and stakeholders with procurement requests
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure contract terms align with department goals and policies
  • Create, maintain, and improve contract templates and playbooks
  • Implement and optimize the use of CLM tool and other legal tech systems, including AI
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Lead contract training for business stakeholders and promote contract best practices
  • Monitor and advise on contract obligations, renewals, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Build relationships with business teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a high-growth, mid-sized SaaS company
