Summary

Second Front Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated customer-facing Security Customer Ops Engineer to join their team, responsible for technical efforts in onboarding customers to their DevSecOps platform. The role requires expertise with cloud infrastructure, containerization, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps principles. Preferred qualifications include 5-7 years of relevant experience, certifications, and a strong interest in national security.

Requirements

  • Architect-level experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based infrastructure
  • Expertise with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Deep expertise and experience with containerization
  • In-depth experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS
  • Experience deploying and managing applications with Helm
  • Proficient in image and container hardening
  • Familiarity with CVE’s
  • Ability to develop, optimize, and debug code
  • Strong coding skills with exposure to one or more of the following: Go, Python, Bash
  • Ability to implement, modify, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand technical concepts
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Expertise with DevSecOps principles: security automation, continuous security, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with Gitlab
  • Familiarity with Google Workspaces

Responsibilities

Spearhead technical efforts to bring customers onboard to the DevSecOps platform (Game Warden)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect
  • Experience as a Software Engineer or DevSecOps Engineer
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • DoD 8570 compliance
