Summary
Join Acceleration Partners as a Sr. Global Analyst and support affiliate and influencer channel insights to drive client customer acquisition and engagement. You will oversee client reporting and forecasting, conduct strategic analysis to identify trends, and collaborate with Global Marketing, Affiliate, and Influencer Leads. This remote US-based role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about data manipulation and storytelling, comfortable managing multi-million-dollar budgets, and experienced in a comprehensive analysis lifecycle. Requirements
- Possess a solid foundation in statistics and practical experience with statistical software (such as Excel, SPSS, SAS)
- Strong project management skills
- SQL experience
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness
- Be capable of critically evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a comparable discipline
- Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple competing priorities
- Experience in the entertainment, media and/or subscription businesses
Responsibilities
- Oversee client reporting and forecasting
- Conduct strategic analysis that identifies trends to support Business Development Managersโ partner strategy and execution
- Work closely with the Global Marketing, Affiliate and Influencer Leads to ensure alignment with overall business objectives
- Effectively use reporting tools, compiling standard & customized weekly, monthly, and quarterly client performance reports
- Understand and maximize network, AP tools, and client internal reporting (when applicable), with no coaching needed, to proactively enhance account management and performance
- Manage and prioritize incoming ad-hoc reporting requests with little to no guidance
- Use data strategically and appropriately and ensure team does as well - all analysis or data shared to clients from team is consistently accurate and precise
- Consistently create reporting models/projections for client and coaches others to do so as needed
- Create an ROI model to support proposals and recommendations
- Proactively track and monitor budget, making recommendations on when levers to increase or pull back on spend
- Work cross-team (finance, BI, global performance marketing, tech ops) to understand data needs and help make informed decisions based on data insights
- Dive into program management tools and tasks to โgo deeperโ into the impact and uncover opportunities for program growth and efficiencies
- Include high-level KPIโs and learnings based on the data, including the ROI on the campaign, with no guidance needed
- Pull together incrementality analysis of program and partners as needed, with some guidance needed from manager
- Support Client Services team with compilation of postmortem recaps that include meaningful data recap, data insights, and visuals to aid in telling the story back to the client
- Proactively analyze data as soon as placements and campaigns have completed, rolling up performance insights to account team and client
- Go beyond the status quo to curate a meaningful story, robust insights, and key trends
- Help protect and monitor health metrics, deeply understanding fraud and quality reporting to create dashboards that support proactive identification of channel risks and deeper understanding of trends around fraud flags and cost risks
- Clearly communicate and summarize program and campaign performance, along with data learnings on client calls
- Ensure emails and reports that recap performance are concise and factual based on data
- Confidently present data findings to client and account teams in a formal setting or presentation
- Display clear understanding of the affiliate landscape, how different brands perform within this space, and client-specific brand knowledge
- Tie this knowledge in with client data to speak to performance story
- Work on problems of moderate scope and tackles routine challenges, using further analysis of situations or data as required at 95% ownership
- Incorporate industry insights and benchmarks within reporting that are relevant to the client and support the story the data is telling
- Pinpoints and proactively flags any trends within the data that might impact program performance
- Leverage visuals to support the story the data is telling
- Know when more information is needed; ask effective questions in appropriate forum, client call, or internal discussion
- Consistently draw out root causes and relevant back story
- Consistently draw relevant and accurate conclusions using data to identify trends (and the why behind those trends), analyze campaigns, and provide client recommendations to reach or exceed goals
- Provide the groundwork for strategic decision-making by uncovering trends and insights that can guide business strategies and improve outcomes
- Identify areas of inefficiency within operations, to help streamline processes, reduce costs, and increase productivity
- Understand customer behaviors and preferences, leading to improved products and services
- Help identify potential risks and challenges, and devise strategies to mitigate these risks
- Monitor and integrate and build out fraud reporting visibility, dashboards and visualization
Preferred Qualifications
- Affiliate and/or Influencer marketing experience
- AI (Artificial Intelligence) experience
