Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, with a strong foundation in analytics engineering, BI, and statistical analysis
- Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data transformation tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow)
- Experience with BI or data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- The ability to partner with stakeholders, translate business needs into data solutions, and communicate insights effectively
- Comfort with ambiguity—someone who is able to break down open-ended questions into structured analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large and complex data sets
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to define core business metrics and creating dashboards and tools to monitor the health of the business
- Be our visualization domain expert with BI platforms and other data visualization tools
- Reconcile data across a diverse set of tools, ensuring accuracy, driving data flow improvements, and maintaining data quality and integrity in partnership with the Data Engineering team
- Partner directly with internal collaborators to understand data needs and performing in-depth analysis to understand the underlying causes of changes in business performance
- Deliver results and managing projects on time with respect to business priorities
- Utilize statistical and analytical techniques to extract insights from large and complex data sets
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and modelling
- Experience at a startup or in healthcare
