Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands on experience working as a Data Analyst
  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • Strong Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries under minimal directions
  • Experience with data exploration tools such as: Looker, Mode, Amplitude
  • A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear manner to business stakeholders
  • Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Eager to learn from others and help others grow with you

Responsibilities

  • Work with complex data sets to answer questions and uncover new insights on product features
  • Create and build custom reports and complete analyses and present clear recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with ESPN Bet / Hollywood Casino / theScore Bet / theScore apps and websites
  • Support Intermediate & Senior Data Analysts on project needs, data issues relating to both analysis and modeling
  • Help with implementation & adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization
  • Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries
