Requirements
- 4+ years of hands on experience working as a Data Analyst
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
- Strong Knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries under minimal directions
- Experience with data exploration tools such as: Looker, Mode, Amplitude
- A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
- Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear manner to business stakeholders
- Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Eager to learn from others and help others grow with you
Responsibilities
- Work with complex data sets to answer questions and uncover new insights on product features
- Create and build custom reports and complete analyses and present clear recommendations to business stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with ESPN Bet / Hollywood Casino / theScore Bet / theScore apps and websites
- Support Intermediate & Senior Data Analysts on project needs, data issues relating to both analysis and modeling
- Help with implementation & adoption of a data exploration tool across the organization
- Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues
- Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries
