Summary
Join Snowplow, a leading provider of customer data infrastructure (CDI), as a Senior Data Analyst. You will be the bridge between Snowplow's internal data platform and business stakeholders, uncovering actionable insights and collaborating to solve problems and achieve goals. You will support high-impact decisions, build and maintain data models, create reports and analyses, and drive data enablement across the company. Requirements
- Proven experience in an analyst or data scientist role (or a similarly relevant position)
- Proven expertise in SQL and data modeling with dbt, plus experience building and optimizing data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with a visualization or BI tool (e.g., Preset/Apache Superset, Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Familiarity with Salesforce (especially working with contacts and accounts and setting up reports and dashboards) or willingness to learn—it’s a critical tool for our Go to Market teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data concepts to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds
- A self-driven, disciplined approach to remote work: you thrive on autonomy and are motivated by making a tangible impact
- No specific formal education requirement —practical experience and proven results are what matter most
Responsibilities
- Support high-impact decisions by collaborating with business stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Finance, RevOps, and more) to understand their needs and deliver the insights they require
- Build and maintain data models in our Snowflake data warehouse using dbt, including reviewing and refining the work of others to ensure accuracy and alignment with best practices
- Create reports and analyses and present findings through visualizations in Preset (our BI tool), in Salesforce, or through detailed deep dives (Notion)
- Drive enablement by running training sessions and workshops to help teams across the company use data more effectively
- Improve existing workflows and processes, regularly reviewing the Data Team’s solutions to optimize efficiency and data quality
- Stay agile in a dynamic environment—each week can include new project requests, stakeholder meetings, and fast-paced changes in priorities
- Foster collaboration within the Data Team (alongside our Head of Data and Staff Data Engineer) and with wider business functions to ensure data-driven growth and success
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or a similarly fast-growth environment is preferred but not essential
- Bonus points for any exposure to R or Python for additional analysis capabilities
- A collaborative mindset —you are comfortable enabling colleagues, reviewing code, and supporting others in a small but high-performing team
