Summary

Barbaricum is hiring a Senior Data Analytics Manager to support a Marine Corps customer in data management and analytics. The role includes identifying and analyzing data from various sources, designing and maintaining queries, providing data analysis for enterprise-level investment decisions, and more. A Master's degree in information systems or similar fields and 10+ years of USMC logistics experience in data/data analytics and systems development/operations are required.

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required
• Master’s degree in information systems, operations research, or similar fields
• 10+ years USMC logistics experience in data/data analytics and systems development/operations
• Mastery of Master Data Repository, Advana, and Jupiter data lakes
• Mastery in Oracle 19c, Microsoft Power Platform products (ex: Power BI) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
• Mastery of Department of Defense Architecture Framework
• Mastery of AWS GovCloud and Microsoft D365 / Azure services

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze data from a variety of information sources
• Assess all pertinent sources of information for applicable metrics
• Design, build, and maintain queries that support the program, such as Depot Data and Process Improvement
• Provide data analysis and advice on Enterprise-level investment decisions to the Government
• Provide gap and capability analysis on the Marine Corps’ Logistics data systems
• Provide support and analysis on total life cycle management activities for Military Equipment, Secondary Items, Operating Material & Supplies (OM&S)
• Analyze and support will include, but is not limited to, project modeling, mapping of the business process, IT procedures and programs, lead modernization activities, perform assessments to identify opportunities to add efficiency to processes and applications that result in enhancing customer service and support to internal and external customers
• Develop capabilities that inform modeling, simulation, and analysis of the programs operations, and information systems/applications
• Develop methods to explore new systems, procedures, threats, and operational environments safely and covertly through the use of physics-based and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Create an M&S software development plan and test plan, develop and test M&S software prototypes
