Senior Data Architect

Summary

Join Finalis as a Data Architect and be responsible for constructing data architecture, implementing solutions, developing and optimizing data pipelines for Snowflake, monitoring user pipelines, collaborating with analysts, driving data governance implementation, and aligning with long-term goals. You will need a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 3+ years of experience, strong knowledge of database systems and data mining (especially Snowflake), proficiency in ELT/ETL processes, expertise in data architecture and governance, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The role requires handling confidential information and being a self-starter. Requirements

• You have exceptional written and spoken English
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field
• You have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• You have strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining, particularly in Snowflake or similar platforms (i.e: AWS S3/Redshift)
• You have proficiency in ELT and ETL processes; familiarity with dbt is a plus
• You have expertise in data architecture, governance, and strong negotiation skills
• You have excellent communication skills, excellent organizational, teamwork and analytical abilities
• You have strong organizational skills and outstanding problem solving skills
• You can handle confidential information
• You are a self-starter, quick learner and highly organized with attention to detail
• You have the ability to follow up; know what's going on at all times and respond quickly
• You are flexible, patient, persistent and have a team spirit attitude

Responsibilities

• Construct the data architecture and implement solutions to meet Finalis' needs and requirements
• Develop and optimize data pipelines to ingest into Snowflake, ensuring efficient and accurate data flow
• Monitor and maintain users and pipelines, ensuring data integrity and system performance
• Collaborate with analysts to capture business requirements and build an enterprise data model
• Drive the implementation of data governance, architecture, and negotiation skills
• Work with the BI Lead to align with long-term goals and deliver quick wins for added value

Preferred Qualifications

• You have the ability to work swiftly with a high sense of urgency and be comfortable with shifting priorities and deadlines
• You have Google Workspace experience
