Senior Data Engineer

Summary

Join Nisum, a global digital commerce leader, as a Data Engineer to develop advanced data solutions for Fortune 500 clients. The role involves designing end-to-end data solutions, optimizing resource usage, and enabling non-functional requirements. Ideal candidates should have experience in solution architecture or senior data engineering roles, knowledge of Azure, Python development, modern data ingestion processes, and Git management.

Requirements

• Experience in solution architect or senior data engineer roles
• Knowledge of Azure
• Python development experience
• Experience in modern data ingestion processes (datalake, datawarehouse, lakehouse)
• Git management

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data transformation processes (including coding/correction of solutions)
• Design end-to-end data solutions using design patterns and industry best practices
• Ensure optimal use of resources (cost and performance)
• Enable non-functional requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Synapse
• Databricks experience
• Apache Parquet experience
