Summary

The Senior Data Scientist (Studio) will analyze gameplay and user interactions to drive data-driven decision making at Immutable, a global technology company specializing in NFTs on Ethereum. The role requires advanced SQL expertise, experience applying probability theory and statistical methods, and proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and visualization.

Requirements

• Advanced SQL expertise for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
• Experience applying probability theory and statistical methods to solve business problems
• Proficiency in data analysis, modelling, and visualization, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate insights effectively
• Strong stakeholder management skills, enabling effective communication and relationship management across various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration on data-driven projects and initiatives

Responsibilities

• Drive data-driven decision making by providing valuable insights and analysis to guide studio decisions
• Conduct quantitative research on user interactions to identify patterns and trends that inform strategic decisions and enhance game development
• Evaluate game features, measure their effectiveness, and recommend optimizations to improve user experience, acquisition, and business outcomes
• Develop and implement predictive models to forecast user behaviour, inform product development, and support targeted growth initiatives
• Create visualizations and generate reports that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision making across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in product marketing and successful product launches
• Experience with Looker
• Understanding of behavioural psychology principles to better interpret user behaviour and motivations, enhancing data-driven insights and recommendations
• Familiarity with monetisation strategies and design principles for digital products, platforms, or games to drive revenue and user engagement
