Summary

Join Natera as a Senior Data Scientist and play a key role in optimizing data-driven solutions across various products. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and statistical modeling
  • At least 3 years of experience using Python and SQL
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts such as hypothesis testing, time series analysis, anomaly detection, and regression modeling
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their practical applications in real-world datasets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven experience in project management, including managing stakeholders, priorities, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and interface with Lab Operations and Product teams to identify process issues, assist with thorough root cause analysis, and provide product support
  • Provide data-backed analysis quickly to Lab Operations to unblock production issues and improve patient results turnaround times
  • Develop and implement anomaly detection models to monitor key process metrics and identify deviations in product performance
  • Apply statistical techniques to analyze complex datasets, supporting predictive analytics and process optimization
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, identify trends, and work with stakeholders to interpret results for continuous improvement
  • Document analytical processes, best practices, and insights to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer across teams
  • Provide training and guidance on SQL, data analysis, and statistical methods to empower internal teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure for data storage, processing, or model deployment
  • Interest in learning about human genetics and sequencing technologies
  • Familiarity with the data science product lifecycle, including model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring
  • Experience using version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab for managing code and collaboration
