Requirements

  • Hold an MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or a related field
  • Possess 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or related
  • Demonstrate a bias to action and strong work ethic with a collaborative and communicative mindset
  • Have extensive hands-on experience with Python, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras and related
  • Have experience with AI/LLM technologies and related
  • Have experience with machine learning algorithms (unsupervised and supervised) and statistical methods
  • Have experience with NLP techniques and vector databases
  • Have experience with evaluating model performance (ROC, F1, etc)
  • Have an understanding of modern deep learning techniques such as CNN, RNN, LLMs
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S

Responsibilities

  • Perform full lifecycle data science from EDA to insight development and presentation to building MVPs of potential solutions
  • Work with LLMs and prompt engineering to facilitate chatbot and chain of reasoning interactions within our Driver and Shipper platforms
  • Evaluate efficacy of different AI models and upgrade as technology improves without a loss of function
  • Code in Python and machine learning technologies to include supervised and unsupervised learning techniques in environments like Jupyter or custom APIs
  • Develop cogent presentations approachable to non-technical audiences
  • Work collaboratively with Engineers, Product Managers, Customer Operations Partners, Marketing, and Data Analysts throughout the organization
  • Advocate for data driven decision making throughout the company

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with Langchain, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex platforms
  • Have experience with advanced anomaly detection and forecasting techniques
  • Have experience with libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, SciPy, PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras and related
  • Have experience building machine learning pipelines and full loop machine learning systems
