Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Sentium Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to help clients leverage their expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning for 3 months, with potential extension. The position is remote and requires full-time commitment. The candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in Data Science, proficiency in Python, Deep Learning, and various statistical techniques, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science
• Expertise in one of the fields: CV, NLP, RecSys, Time Series, MLOps
• Competency in Python (NumPy / SciPy / scikit-learn / pandas / Matplotlib)
• Familiarity with Deep Learning (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras)
• Solid knowledge of various statistical techniques and good understanding of Machine learning practices
• Expertise in Cloud Services (Azure ML Studio)
• Familiarity with Data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and Jupiter Notebooks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues on time
• Minimum upper-intermediate level of English is a must

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development to build innovative machine learning models and algorithms
• Translate business needs into requirements and work with the delivery team through the entire project lifecycle
• Identify business problems and apply appropriate data and methods for effective solutions
• Utilize advanced analytical solutions to process large volumes of structured and unstructured customer data
• Develop descriptive and predictive models using various mathematical and econometric methods to facilitate better decision-making
• Implement production-grade Data Analytics/Data Visualization solutions using data technologies and tools or Cloud-native Data Analytics Solutions
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning technologies and leverage them to improve the recommendation systems
