Senior Data Scientist

Summary

Join us as a Senior Data Scientist and help bring AI to life in the daily operations of thousands of businesses. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and customers to integrate AI into ERP workflows. Responsibilities include designing and building AI features, creating evaluation frameworks, assessing AI feasibility, translating user needs into data solutions, and optimizing SQL reports. This role requires at least 5 years of experience in data science or a related field, strong expertise in Python and AI frameworks, advanced SQL skills, and fluency in English and German. Requirements

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a data science / machine learning / AI engineering role
• You comprehensively understand generative AI components (LLMs, embeddings, logprobs, evaluation methods & metrics)
• You have strong expertise in Python and relevant ML & AI frameworks and design patterns (e.g. RAG)
• You show strong communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• You provide advanced SQL skills and experience with complex, user-facing reporting
• You speak fluently English and German

Responsibilities

• You design, prototype & produce AI features & agents for real-world deployments in the ERP space
• You build rigorous evaluation frameworks to measure the quality, reliability and performance of our AI features
• You rapidly assess the feasibility and impact of AI concepts in a business operations context
• You translate user needs into data workflows, logic, and scalable solutions
• You audit, optimize, and scale customer-facing SQL reports across the ERP platform
