Senior Database Engineer

Requirements

• Deep experience working with and managing MySQL, Postgres, and Redis databases
• Expertise in Ansible
• Deep expertise with managing Linux servers

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support critical infrastructure supporting some of Kaseya’s largest products
• Develop and maintain scalable server environments for data stores such as MySQL, Postgres, and Redis, with built-in HA and DR strategies to ensure data integrity and service continuity
• Utilize Ansible and Python to support and improve current automation frameworks and proactively develop new automation solutions for evolving infrastructure needs
• Passionately promote Kaseya's core values
• Promote collaboration and team growth
• Identify gaps in processes and tasks
• Be an advocate of continuous improvement
• Be a positive role model that others want to follow and be inspired by
• Participate in a rotational on-call program and enhance troubleshooting techniques and utilities to ensure quick resolution to service-impacting issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop in Python
• Experience working with hypervisors, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Terraform, HAProxy, ZFS, Keepalived, Cassandra, and AWS (RDS, Elasticache, EC2)
