Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Develop monthly sales demand plans by product, channel, and retailer/distributor
  • Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, POS and inventory levels)
  • Provide in-depth information on customer program performance and trends
  • Establish effective and supportive working relationships with the Sales & Finance teams
  • Provide input into and participate in the monthly IBP meetings
  • Monitor performance vs. the forecast and identify any key shifts or trends
  • Analyze forecast variation/deviation with the goal of minimizing service issues and prevent the build-up of excess & obsolete inventory
  • Utilize and suggest improvements to analytical tools and processes to support forecast development
  • Exhibit exceptional communication, follow through, and organizational skills
  • Create ad-hoc reports as requested

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field preferred
  • Expert with modeling, forecasting, reporting tools, & supply/demand matching
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
