Senior Design Project Manager

Summary

With over 10 years of experience managing engineering projects in relevant markets, you will manage project budgets, coordinate design disciplines, and ensure client expectations are met. This role requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and PMP or PE certification is preferred. Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and have 10+ years of experience
• Possess proficiency with relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel
• Be able to travel up to 25%
• Work well within a team environment, maintain a positive attitude, multi-task, and produce high-quality work
• Demonstrate effective communication skills with internal and external team members in person and on various communication platforms
• Show a desire to learn and grow professionally
• Pass the iParametrics Drug and Alcohol test

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate financial understanding of project controls
• Show familiarity with scope of work development, writing, and execution
• Possess working knowledge of large capital expenditure planning and execution
• Create and manage project budgets
• Perform minimal contract language review
• Utilize basic scheduling tools
• Develop and implement organization and responsibility matrices for each project
• Understand and implement client expectations for design completeness and quality
• Develop plans and specifications to convey construction scope of work
• Coordinate requirements between design disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

• Hold a PMP certification
• Hold a Professional Engineer Registration
