Summary
Join Caylent's growing Cloud Project Management team as a Senior Project Manager. You will oversee projects, manage stakeholders, lead teams, mitigate risks, and monitor performance. The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of experience in client-facing project management, preferably in cloud consulting. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This is a fully remote position with a base salary range of CAD 126,000 - CAD 145,000 per year, plus additional compensation components. Requirements
- At least 8 years of proven experience in a client-facing Project Manager role, preferably in cloud consulting or related services
- Managed technical projects that consist of 5 or more people and over $500,000 budget
- Ability to leverage multiple Project Management methodologies and/or approaches to drive the best Client experience (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Experience in forecasting and budgeting management to drive accuracy in revenue projections to realization
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects and ensure they are executed with excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
- Ability to interact with clients at both a business and technical level
Responsibilities
- Oversee all assigned projects, including setting goals between clients and delivery teams, planning and execution of projects, conducting regular touch-points and coordinating account-related activities as needed
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project goals
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure successful project execution
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively
- Performance Monitoring: Track project progress against milestones, using KPIs and reporting tools to assess performance and make data-driven decisions
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that arise
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with infrastructure modernization, application development and/or data engineering disciplines
- Experience working in a client-facing environment
- Experience working in consulting or professional services
