Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Developer Advocate, Solutions Architect, Developer Experience Specialist, or Technical Marketing Specialist
  • You have practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or related field
  • You are familiar with Instruqt
  • You are familiar with the CI/CD processes
  • You are familiar with Argo CD and/or GitOps
  • You are familiar with Kubernetes
  • You are familiar with Terraform
  • Relevant communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with developers and platform engineers through various channels to build and nurture relationships within the community
  • Create high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, sample code, demos, videos, reference architectures, validated patterns, and documentation
  • Host workshops and training sessions to enable strategic opportunities or existing customers
  • Serve as a passionate advocate for Akuity's platform and technologies by delivering compelling presentations, workshops, and demos at events and conferences
  • Build enablement materials for our customers, gather their feedback, and present findings to the product team to further improve the product
  • Gather feedback from community members, developers and platform engineers in order to relay insights to internal teams to help improve products, documentation, and end user experience
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align outreach efforts with business objectives
  • Assist customer success team by providing technical assistance (Proof Of Concepts, Workshops, Architecture Overviews)
  • Provide technical assistance and support to developers and platform engineers by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on best practices for integrating Akuity's Platform, APIs, SDKs, and any other tools
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in order to share knowledge with the team to enhance collective expertise

  • Not afraid to come up with new ideas and see them through
  • Enthusiastic about working with a diverse, global team of professionals across multiple time zones (asynchronously)
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 25%)
